Old sketch of Leo Da Vinci's Madonna of the Rocks. I just like his paintings. Not the subject matter so much, just the technique. Ingenious really. And this helped me practice my shading technique. Done in pencil.

You're a really great shader; I might suggest spending some more time on this, like adding more darks and maybe stroking in a little hair; it would make it look more complete
